Required 11th Grade Summer Reading
You MUST bring your own hard copy of the required reading with you on the first day of school in September. We expect you to have read and annotated that copy.
Please keep in mind that even if you rush home and read the text tonight, you should still give yourself time to review it in the days immediately before school begins. The first days of English class will be more engaging for everyone if the text is fresh in your mind.
All required books are provided by the school and you should pick them up before your last day on campus. If you have any questions about required reading from the English Department, please reach out to Dr. Kate Olson at kolson@friendsseminary.org. If you are new to the community and need to receive your books, please contact the Upper School Office.
If you do not have your Sora account activated, you may make an appointment with Adrienne at aalmeida@friendsseminary.org until Friday, June 13, 2025. We hope you will support your local libraries and local independently owned bookshops for print copies of the books.
